Hempton to kick off campaign

March 31, 2014

Republican Dr. Timothy Hempton, a Christina Drive resident running for state rep. against Rep. John Rogers (D-Norwood) in the upcoming November election, will officially kick off his campaign on Thursday, April 10, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Olde Colonial Cafe in Norwood, Mass.

His website is, and he now has a Facebook page.

(On a personal note, I had never met Hempton until a recent Walpole Republican Town Committee meeting. At that meeting, he gave a stump speech that I thought was one of the best campaign speeches I have ever seen from any candidate for any office. Even though he is a first-time candidate, I expect Hempton to put a lot of passion into this campaign, and he will make it an interesting race.)
