This is it…

June 5, 2010

Six candidates are vying for two seats on the Board of Selectmen, and a controversial police station override is on the ballot today. Today could be one of the most critical elections in Walpole history, with issues like biotech, revenue sources, town planning, and more all at stake today.

Polling locations are open from 8 AM to 8 PM throughout town. Today is looking to be fairly wet, but don’t let the rain stop you from voting.

Remember, you can check this blog and the Sam Obar Twitter Feed throughout the day for updates about voter turnout, the candidates, polling locations, and more. At 8 PM, I’ll have real-time results as they come in.

At 4 PM, don’t miss an exclusive Election Day Special Edition of The Sam Obar Show with an interview with current Selectwoman Nancy Mackenzie. Listen live here.

Projections

Sam Obar 180 is projecting that John Desmond, Nancy Gallivan, and Michael Ryan will win the three uncontested seats on the School Committee (it’s virtually impossible for them not to.)
